On Second Life we made ourselves avatars. My avatar Danielle Snowfield is in the picture above. In Second Life you enter into a whole new world where the sky is the limit. You can ran, jump, fly, and create anything you like. Even your avatar has no limits; in Second Life you can be a cat if you want to. But why is this program being taught in class? Well here in Second Life you can take classes, go to foreign places to learn or even set up a virtual tour of inside a cell. I even decided to incorperate this program into my unit plan so that my students would be able to go inside the life cycle and effects of the disease Malaria. I think that this program could be a great teaching aid in the 21st century classroom.
